Unfortunately for the current homeowners, this master bathroom had not been touched since the home was built in 1984. An enormous mint green jetted tub, with brass fixtures and mint green tile dominated the space. Not only was the space extremely dated, but it did not accommodate some of the clients’ long term needs. Edit Design Build Studio worked with the homeowners to transform the space occupied by the bathtub into a luxurious, tiled steam shower with easy access and a tiled bench. The space was reconfigured to accommodate a second lavatory and increased storage. A heated floor was added for additional comfort, and, as a finishing touch, in-ceiling speakers were added to both the room and the steam shower.
