This small kitchen desperately needed some creative reworking. In addition to completely reworking the layout, several bold elements were chosen to elevate this space. A deep indigo color was selected for the cabinets and handmade concrete tiles were installed behind the range, creating a bold accent wall. The apron sink and soapstone countertops gesture to the age of the home, while a new window above the sink lets in much needed natural light. To complete the project, the original floors were refinished throughout the first floor.
