With a passion for recording and a love of all things musical, these homeowners wanted to add a performing and recording studio to their home in Eagan. The primary intent was to create a professional quality, recording studio within the existing residential setting. In order to achieve this a 200 sf addition was added to a garage bay adjacent to their home. Specially designed walls were constructed and commercial-grade acoustical doors and windows were installed in order to eliminate sound transfer to and from the adjacent living spaces. A bold color palette, explosion proof industrial lighting and the homeowners’ recording equipment complete this fresh new space.
